Green care services

Plant care that pairs with your whole year.

Every service from Dawnshine EverGreen Limited follows the same greenhouse rule — match the plant to the light and the people, then keep the care simple enough to repeat. Here is how each offering works for a home, an office floor, or a single favourite pot on the sill.

Plant Subscription Boxes

Subscription boxes turn a bare windowsill into a living calendar. Choose a start specimen and the room where it will live, and the greenhouse team picks the next three species to follow it through the changing months. Every box holds a young plant in a terracotta pot, a printed care card with watering and light notes, and a sealed sachet of slow-release feed suited to the species.

Boxes are delivered fresh on the same day across most of Hong Kong, arriving upright with the pot wrapped and leaves cushioned. If a swap box does not suit your light after two weeks, we collect it and renew it for a replacement — no questions and no return postage for you. Plans run monthly, quarterly or seasonally, and pause anytime should you travel. Subscribers also receive early access to winter rest lists and rare spring arrivals.

  • Fresh seasonal rotation chosen for your exact light levels.
  • Care card, slow-release feed and a sturdy terracotta pot included.
  • Free swap within two weeks if the match does not thrive.

Office Greenery Programs

A planted office looks calm from the door, but fluorescent light, air-conditioning and busy traffic are a harder habitat than any home. Our office program begins with a floor survey that records light at each window, walkways, meeting rooms and receptions, then matches hardy, low-touch species to every zone. Robust peace lilies, wide-leaf zamioculcas, trailing pothos and upright snake plants do the heavy lifting in lobbies.

After the planting, a dedicated tenderer visits on a fixed rotation to water, wipe leaves, rotate pots toward the light and prune spent growth. Failures are replaced before they become obvious so the scheme always looks tended. A monthly report tracks each zone, noting anything new and flagging changes before they become problems. Programs fit one reception pot or full floor schemes of several hundred plants across multiple buildings.

  • Light survey and zone-matched species selection at no charge.
  • Fixed rotation watering, cleaning and pruning visits.
  • Proactive replacement and a clear monthly care report.

Care Diagnostics and Plant Doctor

Every leaf sends signals, and reading them is the fastest way to save a plant. Our remote care diagnostics let you photograph the worry from any device. The plant doctor checks leaf colour, stem firmness, pot weight and the underside of leaves, then replies in plain language with a realistic recovery road map and a timetable for when you should notice a change.

Where calls for a closer look, we visit the plant at home or at work. The doctor arrives with tools, slow-release feed, fresh potting mix and a small soil meter, works on the spot, and leaves a care sheet pinned to the arrangement. Diagnostics cover yellowing, wilting, pests such as scale and thrips, fungal spotting, root issues below the soil line and the quiet decline that follows a forgotten winter water.

  • Photo diagnostics answered by a real plant doctor within one day.
  • Home and office visits with tools, feed and a soil meter.
  • Recovery plan with plain wording, honest timelines and no jargon.

Pot and Planter Curation

The right vessel is the difference between a plant and a piece of living furniture. Our curators walk through your shelves, sills and walls to match each specimen with a pot that lets roots breathe and keeps the room in balance. We work with glazed bauers, unglazed clay troughs, cache pots with hidden drainage liners and wall mount frames that lift trailing plants toward the light.

Weight, drainage and potting mix are designed together so the pot does not tip, puddle or strangle the root ball. Repotting is done in the greenhouse or at your address, whichever you prefer, with the old vessel cleaned and returned. Curation suits a single anniversary gift pot as easily as a matching run of planters along a whole reception wall.

  • Shelf, windowsill and wall-frame consultation in your own space.
  • Mixing balanced with drainage so roots are never left in standing water.
  • Repotting done cleanly, with the old planter refinished and returned.

Workshops and Community Events

Workshops turn care from a mystery into a quiet confidence. Our beginner terrarium session builds a self-contained woodland floor in a jar, each with its a small fern, springy moss and a bed of pebbles and charcoal. The trailing-plant class binds a pothos to a moss pole and teaches the simple water-and-rotate rhythm most room plants need to stay happy for years.

Teams love the build-your-own-workscape slot, where colleagues together assemble their own mini arrangement on a company table. Sessions last ninety minutes at our Mong Kok glasshouse or at your premises, and every attendee leaves with a planted takeaway and a printed reminder sheet. Private sessions are sized for families, school classes, offices and community groups of up to forty people, with all materials supplied.

  • Terrarium jars, moss-pole binding and mini workscape formats.
  • Ninety-minute sessions at the glasshouse or at your premises.
  • Every attendee leaves with a planted takeaway and a care reminder.

Corporate Interior Landscaping

For lobbies, atriums, stairwells and full floors we design complete interior landscapes that hold their own under artificial light and constant footfall. The project begins with a site review of ceiling height, glazing and foot traffic, then moves to a planting plan, scale drawings and a phased delivery that works around your opening hours with no disruption to staff.

Larger pieces arrive on trolleys with planters on castors where space allows, so a scheme can be refreshed or reconfigured without heavy lifting. Our same greenhouse team that tends reception schemes maintains these installations under the office program, replacing specimens and reporting on each zone. Corporate landscaping also covers seasonal accents for hospitality, seating areas bathed in filtered light and green partitions that soften open-plan rooms.

  • Site review, planting plan and dimension drawings produced first.
  • Phased delivery around opening hours with trolley-handled planters.
  • Ongoing maintenance, refresh and zone reporting across buildings.

How a service journey works

Step one

Tell us about the green goal

Share the room, the light, the number of people and the foot traffic. For larger schemes we schedule a short site review on Tong Mei Road or at your building to read the real conditions.

Step two

Receive an honest matching plan

You get a clear written plan naming each plant, its pot and the care rhythm, with realistic costs and timelines. We adjust the mixing until the plan fits your space and your budget.

Step three

Fresh delivery with care notes

Plants arrive packed upright with a care card and feed. Office and corporate schemes are planted in phases around your schedule so the space looks finished from the first morning.

Step four

Ongoing visits and shows of health

Our tenderers, doctor visits and swap windows keep every specimen thriving with clear reports, so care stays easy long after the first pot settles in.
